Swallow whole. Do not chew, crush or break the tablets.

Avoid alcohol, hot drinks or spicy foods when taking this drug.

What if I missed taking the drug?

Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it's time to take the next dose, skip the missed dose and then return to your normal schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time.

Possible side effects for Advicor

It is necessary to use this drug only after consulting a doctor because of numerous side effects. Advicor may cause such side effects as memory loss, confusion, high blood sugar, type 2 diabetes. These side effects are usually not severe. They disappear after discontinuation of Advicor.

Precautions when taking Advicor

Tell your health care provider if you have high blood sugar (diabetes). During Advicor therapy patients should regularly check the level of sugar in the blood.

Note that Advicor can change the results of some laboratory tests.

Do not take too much grapefruit juice and alcohol. Drinking too much alcohol can increase the risk of liver disease.
