A pretty short but educative story about how Avelox is working for me would be: I am not and I doubt that I would be ever be able to find another better medication that would be more effective in knocking out the infection so quickly and so effective. Trust me, I have taken a lot of medications and again trust me that there is no other better. however, a lot of people find it to be the worst medicine and others may tell you that it is “dangerous” but why? Because they don’t realize that such a potent drug that is able to knock out the infection so effective and so quickly comes with a price of some side effects and that is why before you start using it you should educate yourself in how using it properly. In case you would do it you would be able to avoid some of these side effects but if you educate yourself enough you can avoid most of them which remains that you would have only the mildest and the shortest side effects. let me start helping you out and if you’re interested in how you should do it then here’s a quick tutorial, for more info you might search it online, ask your doctor or at least ask me in PM. So, I need to start by telling you that as soon as you take it, this medicine is stimulating your central nervous system and that is why you should not take too many stimulants at once. Try to avoid nicotine caffeine and any other stimulant otherwise you will be most likely to complain about having palpitations and/or tremors. Almost, there are chances that you would feel nervous because of the CNS stimulation that is why it would be a very good idea to try searching for some ways to relax or to exercise (your extra energy goes in a right place). Here we can conclude one more thing: it mostly depends on your dosing but either way, in case this is possible, try to take the drug in the morning or at least early in the evening (always with food) so in the way you can avoid insomnia. One extremely important thing to mention here is that avelox is interacting with A LOT of other medications as well as foods. You should really inform yourself about this for avoiding future issues, one of the biggest issue can be “Long QT syndrome”. That is why, in case you are suffering from ANY heart problems (before starting to use it make sure that you are not by doing some exams) you should let your doctor know about them in order to be sure that the drug won’t interfere with that. moreover, beta blockers are able to cause you arrhythmia if taken with avelox. Remember tht your doctor doesn’t have anything to do with it if you’re not reading the packet with your prescription and you’re not mentioning the issues you’re having. As I already said this is a very strong and potent drug and doctors (at least most of them, the competent ones) are not prescribing it to everybody, only for those people whom they believe that their condition is warranting it. However, you should know that most people taking this drug will have side effects. I have seen that most people are throwing negative reviews about this drug but they don’t realize that mostly it’s their fault. Usually, cases like this don’t see any symptoms relief for a couple of days and if you’re not seeing any effects within 2 days then don’t hurry up making a bad review. You need to know that you will have side effects and you won’t be seeing much relief in one or two days of taking it. that is why just take the drug with a small portion of food and then expect the fact that you will have some cramping. You should know that broad spectrum antibiotics are killing a lot of species of bacteria and these are the ones on your intestines too that are used to digest food. There is a lot to learn if you want to be on the safe side.
