Do not use this substance in case of sinus bradycardia, 2nd and 3rd degree AV block, severe hypotension, dysfunction of the thyroid gland (hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism), pregnancy and lactation;

Amiodarone CHL should not be used with drugs that prolong the QT interval or may cause paroxysmal tachycardia. The agent should not be used with antiarrhythmics and some other drugs, such as bepridil, some antipsychotics, benzamides, tricyclic antidepressants, macrolide antibiotics.

Amiodarone CHL is contraindicated in case of hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia, interstitial lung disease. Do not use this substance if you are under 18.

The tablets are taken before meals, with plenty of fluids. The dosage should be determined by your doctor.

Digestive system: nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, acute toxic hepatitis, chronic liver failure.

Respiratory system: pneumonitis, pleural effusion, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchospasm in patients with acute respiratory failure.

i have no words describing this killing drug. Please don’t take it! it is the worst drug, the drug that can kill you and it is not worth even giving it a try. I don’t understand why doctors are still prescribing this drug. A couple of months ago my mother have been prescribed cordarone for atrial fibrillation. Soon after she started to use it she was feeling dizzy and lightheaded and right after she started to feeling that something goes wrong she has tried to have an appointment with the doctor prescribing her this horrible drug. However, by the time she have had that appointment she started to feel even worse and then it was too late because she was admitted to the hospital. There we have been told she had only 70% oxygen. Being there she was put on life supports, she was sedated as well as pumped of some steroids. One month being in that hospital we thought that she will be fine or at least better, but there wasn’t really that much of improvement, if any. Only the constant oxygen and steroids (the life supports) were the only things that were still keeping her alive. After weeks of struggle to breath, of fighting between life and death, she was extremely exhausted, she didn’t had so much power anymore and she has completely lost her hope when as a final result she passed away 9 days ago. I’ve seen my mother slowly passing away and that’s the worst thing in this life. I had no idea that this summer I will lose my mother when I was nearly sure that everything is going to be alright. I was full of hopes until the end that everything is going to be alright. but no…. I thought that I may save some other people lives by discouraging everybody who intends to use this killing drug! Believe me, it is not worth to give it a chance because if you would have side effects, then it is going to be the final stage of your life. please don’t do it, or if there’s somebody who you really love then stop him or her to take it. if the doctor prescribes it to you tell him that you categorically refuse to take it!
