Elocon is used to treat the following skin diseases: psoriasis, chronic eczema, atopic dermatitis, pruritic dermatoses, discoid lupus erythematosus, lichen planus, sunburns.

What is the recommended dose for Elocon (mometasone)?

Occlusive dressings significantly increase the risk of side effects.

Prolonged use may lead to adrenal insufficiency or Cushing's syndrome (systemic adverse symptoms).

What should you know about Elocon (mometasone) overdose?

Do not exceed the recommended dosage of Elocon. If overdose occurs, stop using the product. Stop the treatment and consult your doctor at the first sign of overdose (high blood pressure, weight gain, menstrual disorders, hirsutism, etc.). Symptomatic therapy is recommended (depending on the symptoms).
