Flagyl (Sanofi Aventis)

My wife has been diagnosed with ureaplasma, and since we're planning to get pregnant, we both had to go through treatment. Besides other medications, her doctor prescribed 250 mg Flagyl by sanofi. I took 1x250 mg pill 3 times a day, she advised to take it after meals. Indeed, my stomach let know it didn't like the pill, however, despite the little discomfort, flagyl had no other negative effects on me. Took the drug for 5 days, no alcohol, no sexual intercourse. After the treatment we waited 1 and a half-month to retake the test and check whether ureaplasma was gone - the results came in negative. We are now both healthy and now working on getting pregnant.
