How to use Meridia

Take Meridia exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take each dose with a full glass of water.

Meridia is usually taken once a day. The pills can be taken with or without food.

In case of no effect (reduction in body weight of less than 5% of the initial level after 3 months of therapy), the treatment should be stopped. Do not continue treatment if you still gain weight. Total duration of therapy should not exceed 1 year.

Meridia can cause high blood pressure in some patients. Therefore, it is important to regularly measure blood pressure during treatment.
