Multiple Sclerosis diagnose was put on me in 1995 and for about 10 years (until 2005) I wasn’t taking anything because my issue was at an initial stage so I didn’t wanted to take something if I didn’t need it. in 2005 I was suggested to take Avonex. Been on Avonex for about 3 years until 2008 until I had an episode so the doctor said that if it started then it can continue like that so he pulled me off Avonex and suggested to take Rebif this time. I was taking Rebif for 2 more years, it means I took it until 2010. I didn’t like the idea of taking Rebif from the very beginning because I had to take it 3 times per week. In 2010 I said my doctor that I want to discontinue all the medications (for many purposes) and sincerely, I was feeling fine off the medications. However, two years later in 2012 my father passed and 2 months after that I had an episode of optic neuritis so I had to take Rebif once again. Started it but I was having even more episodes since then. How can my doctor say that this medication is helping while I am having even more episodes while I am being on it? This is nonsense and Rebif isn’t helping me! I didn’t liked the idea of being on any meds but at least, I was doing better on Avonex than on this one. In addition, wherever I am injecting Rebif I am having red marks all over (my stomach, my legs etc.). There’s one more thing that I am feeling myself somehow depressed while I am on Rebif. Maybe Rebif doesn’t make me depressed directly but this doesn’t matter as far as I am feeling bad because of it. Now, I really intend to discontinue taking Rebif once again and with any luck, I would take Avonex. Seems that it doesn’t work for everybody identically. By the way, I was on other medication as well, on Ampyra, but taking it was horrible so I took it only a couple of weeks and stopped it. definitely not recommending Ampyra!

I consider myself a very lucky one for having insurance coverage for this medicine called Rebif. I’m having Multiple Sclerosis few weeks before I got the official diagnose about 5 years ago. I’m 32 years old male and this issue appeared few months later after the birth of my first and only boy. My doctor said that the prior conditions are now mostly the autoimmune, to range between cardiomyopathy to Crons disease. Well, the effects from multiple sclerosis on me are not simply sclerosis but it includes urinary issues, balance troubles, foot weakness, numbness and I’m having extremely bad nerves pain. Besides this I’m having others as well. Now, I am on Rebif for a month and few days and I’m taking the highest dose of 44 mcg. The side effects aren’t anything good: bruising where the injection was, flu like symptoms and very bad feeling of fatigue. However, I guess they worth it all, that’s because I am able to notice some improvement: the longer I am on Rebif the better are my worst days. If it continues to work the side effects are all worth it!

Diagnose of multiple sclerosis was put in oct 2009. Tried avonex for few months but unfortunately it didn’t worked so I’ve been switched on Rebif. I was put on this medicine on early 2010 and now 5 years passed but I didn’t had any relapses since then. That is why I can say that this medicine is the best out there. Whenever I don’t get my dosage of rebif I am getting a very bad headache on the second day of the day it was scheduled. I guess this is some kind of withdrawal effect or I don’t know but still it is much better than without it because I’ve done a test few years ago and I’ve stopped taking rebif for approximately half a year. It was a mistake but at least I’ve seen one more time that rebif really works because in that time I had a relapse. But I didn’t had it anymore since I’ve started to take it again. My face and legs were numb and my feet were tingly. Even, I don’t really regret that I’ve done that test. I didn’t exactly knew how to handle all that headaches I had and any other symptoms and I should called my doctor but I didn’t. only later, I’ve thought about starting the treatment with rebif again and i was feeling good back again. anyway, I am ready to face any other side effects such as headache or other things just not to have another relapse. So, as a conclusion to all I’ve said above I am recommend this drug for people suffering from the same condition as I am. I think that if it helped me so good it will help others well. In fact that is why I decided to write this review, hoping that it will help somebody in need.

Was diagnosed with MS few years ago and this was a real problem as for me as for my family! Finally I have found Rebif and since then I see a clearly improvement in my situation. I can work, my attitude is better and even all my everyday interactions with my family and my friends got a lot better. In general, it makes me feel much better. I’m very thankful!
