I don’t know if there is somebody that experienced the same thing. I started to use Restasis 2 years ago. It is supposed to think that after 2 years of administration it had to work but no it got worse. I’m very worried about the thing that it has made my eyes much worse. I’m completely disappointed because I had read some other reviews and Restasis helped in many other cases. Besides this I experience all the possible side effects that it can cause. There are a lot of symptoms that I noticed that appear during the usage of this drug. There is one thing that terrifies me more than other. The thing is that some days ago when I used for the last time this drug my left eye started to secrete a strange yellow substance and a strange sensation that my eye is burning. I started to rub my eye and it became red, I know that this is not a good idea but the itch that I experienced was insupportable. The next day I noticed that my eye started to swell. I’m not sure if it is because of the rub or because of the drug but it created to me a frightening sensation. After I consulted my doctor I decided to quit the drug and I started to use other types of drugs that help me to reduce the pain and the swell too.

I was suffering from eye dryness for many many years and in all that time, I have tried about every single treatment you can find. Starting with home remedies to consulting a lot of doctors. I have tried all kind of steroid drops, artificial tears (working for only few minutes), patanol, punctual plugs and others. My situation was getting harder and harder and my eyes more dry with each day. Nothing ever worked, it seemed that I have no cure. However, I had one and I found it: this medicine. Restasis Opht is the only thing that actually worked on me. My optical doctor (the last of them) finally recommended that I should try this medicine. He said that we’ve been trying to cure this problem with other methods because this is an expensive medicine which requires a long term usage and it can take a while until it becomes effective but with several possible side effects. He said that I should tell him everything I notice because a lot of people had negative effects from it. I was a bit aware. However, after I have used Restasis for a little bit more than 3 months I was able to feel my eyes much better, different from before. I thought I’ll never be able to tell this but I no longer have problems with eye dryness and I no longer have to use OTC artificial tears in order to have at least a little bit relief. I know it sounds like I’m bluffing but my eyes have not felt so good in many years now. this is true. Initially I was afraid that this is going to be another useless cure for my eyes but now I’m simply amazed at how Restasis has worked for my eyes. Moreover, I can tell you that this is not as expensive as I thought it is going to be because I was able to manage out the doses which I recommend all of you to do. However, I was and I am still ready to give even more money just to have the same results as I am having now. this is the only thing that worked for my problematic eyes, no money is worth for this relief. Hope it would work for everybody else as well as it did worked for me.

It is a helpful drug! My eye were always dry and they were very painful so it really interfered with my normal daily activities. I have used this product for a little less than one year and my eye dryness was minimal, I used this drug for another year and my eye dryness was completely zero. Two days ago my eyes were dry and painful every single day. One year ago my eyes were normal most of the days but not always. Now, two years later my eyes never hurt and they are never dry! In the beginning I didn’t understood why this product is so expensive but as the effects are good, it’s worth the money. If you think that the price too high (yes I agree that it is expensive) then think what’s more important: your money or your eyes? I just want to help other people because I know how it is like to live like that. Moreover, yes, it burns pretty bad when you put it in. I experienced that too many times and later I found out that you can prevent that (too bad I’ve discovered that only few months ago). About 10 or 15 minutes prior to use the restatis, use a lubricating eye drops (one or two drops) and it will help you to ease that burning. You will also have blurry eyes for 3-5 minutes after you use it and I don’t know how to make it stop but I think it’s not that much to be considered a real problem. You can get your old good eyes back with the help of this drug exactly as I did. Try it and you’ll see yourself!

Useless product with a lot of side effects! I would never give it to my dear people! I had eye burning and the doctor prescribed me Restastis. He warned me about side effects but I never had any side effects from another medication and I thought that I’m immune or something to them, too bad, I really had them and I feel even worse than before! Took it for 3 days and the burning in my eye continued. I still had pains and my vision was even worse blurred. It was horrible. I could not sleep and out of nothing I had pains in my throat, moreover I developed swellings under my eye. If that isn’t enough I also developed arthritis in my fingers (painful red bumps). After 3rd day of use I could not get this anymore and I called my doctor who immediately discontinued the use of this thing. I don’t know what they are putting in this medication but I took another one and everything seems fine, no side effects and its effective. Make the right choice!
