For the most part of it, I can say that Strattera is an amazing drug and I’m sorry for those who cannot find this drug helpful because it really is. Yeah, it does have some side effects, but the benefits definitely outweigh them. I am currently 48 years old and I have been fighting in order to finally find out what it is my issues since I have been in high school. The depression and anxiety were surely there and they also combined with all the ADD symptoms has surely affected very much the relationship with my wife, with my kids, with my friends and my life in general. I did have heard that Strattera might be helpful for the exact those symptoms I was suffering from, and I heard of it some years ago, however I did not really wanted to take any drugs for something that may be “only the way I am”. however, deep inside of me I knew that this is a problem and I was admitting that this is a problem even if this is “only the way I am”. I was very desperately trying to find out what wrong as well as to get rid of this “brain fog” I had. So, I have started to use this medication 2 months ago and honestly, I got more effects that I thought I would and quicker that I thought I would that’s because I started to notice positive results almost immediately and they were amazing! I have started to THINK before I am speaking and I noticed that I am a better listener now when I’m in a conversation. In fact, I’m not a better listener because in the past I was not at all, I’m not listening! What shocked my wife completely is that I have already read 6 books in less than 2 months with awesome comprehension. And beside of it all, I am feeling hopeful about the future. Totally not me since I was the one who never thought “positive” about future. I really like this “freedom-ness” since I am not depressed anymore and I am not worrying about EVERYTHING anymore. I do have some very minor side effects but they are not a big issue for me since they, as I said, minor and they are also appearing and disappearing on occasions. The biggest problem of mine is sleep but I’m not sure if Strattera is responsible for this because I was having issues with sleeping even before using it so I doubt that Strattera is to blame on. I have been tired in the past because of this and I am still now tired, however, the difference from now and then is that now, even so, I am still able to get all the things done. I have been on Lunesta in the past for this but I really don’t want to go back on it since I really want to get my sleep better in a natural way. By the way, I would really appreciate if somebody would PM me and would tell me some ways I can do it, naturally… now there’s some things that are up on me because Strattera has already done a lot, like for example to overcome the bad habits and to finally raise my productivity at work. What I recommend you all is not to give up to find an answer of what’s ruining you and your life. I really understand that this med won’t work for everybody out there, however I really doubt that trying once would hurt you. I know that you are able to quit using it cold turkey and you won’t have any withdrawal effects from it in case it does not work for you the way it should be working. now I regret that I haven’t tried it the very first time I have heard of it.

Strattera is obviously not a medication for me and I really doubt that it is a drug made for somebody without the Hyperactivity part of ADHD. My doctor prescribed me one free sample of Strattera and he decided that I need to start with only a dose of 20 mg but then, pretty quickly he has increased my dose all the way up to 80 mg due to the fact that the effects were totally unnoticed. I was unable to tell a difference at all until I reached the dosage of 60 mg but it was very and very slight (with some more noticeable side effects) and then when I got at the 80 mg the effects started to become a bit apparent, however the side effects all started to be too apparent so it was unbearable to me to take it anymore. I really have noticed that I have started to be able to focus on a particular topic for a little bit longer period of time, however, this is the only good effect I have got from it, that’s because all the rest, I mean my low to no motivation did not increased, my procrastination remained the same, my easily irritability – the same, my sluggishness did not improved, the memory problems I was still have them. I mean, nothing at all changed, all of them remained the same. But if talking about side effects then I can say that all my head started to itch, very disturbing (and awkward when people looking at you), both my testicles started to be very tender, however, I guess that the worst side effect that I have had of them all was the fact that I started to be depressed. I’m not sure if this would work for somebody or no, but for me it did not worked at all this is why I cannot recommend it. at least, I can’t say that this is a bad drug, it is only a drug that does not work for everybody and I’m one of those.

Strattera is a dangerous drug. It not only did not help me with the ADHD I am suffering from, but it made it all worse. Doctor diagnosed me and put me on this hellish thing. as soon as I started to take it I started to notice (as well as everybody around me) that it made me extremely aggressive as well as very easily angered. I have gone through a total change of my personality and for the worse. Not sure if it did helped other but for me that’s one of the worst drugs I have ever taken!

I am a 25 years old female who has been diagnosed by my doctor with ADHD as well as a mild depression according to his words. After he put me these diagnosis he prescribed me to take Strattera with a combination of Ciprolex. In fact, he only added Strattera to my daily regimen because I have already been on Ciprolex for a couple of years before I have been put on Strattera. The problem is that I have had absolutely no side effects from Ciprolex when I was on this drug alone, however, as soon as I started to use Strattera, problems have started. In less than 2 or 3 days after I used it I started to have heart palpitations, sleepiness, nausea as well as dizziness. I have decided to remain on the drug due to the fact that focusing was an extremely big problem for me as I was unable to focus on even the most basic of the tasks I have had that is why I was dealing with the side effects as I could. In the end I dealt with them because after one year of being on it I only started to feel great again. Therefore, I weaned myself off of it and in less than 2 months I wasn’t me anymore. I started to be an extremely angry and depressed person. I was extremely easily irritated and nobody started to talk with me anymore. besides, I was filled all over with anxiety for nothing, my anxiety got to such an point that I was thinking that I am going to be sick. Thereby, now I am sitting here being stuck to deal with all those pills or to be worse than I was before…. Really don’t know what to do. besides, if I continue being on them, what would be after even more years of being on it and then starting to wean off them? but if I am not staying on them then I am nearly losing all my social life (which is barely there). that is why I am not sure if I like this medication or I hate it…

Hi everyone, I decided to write this review because I want to help others achieve what I achieved with the help of this medication. so, I am a senior in high school and I have been using this medication (Strattera) for nearly 5 years now. I need to start off by saying that there truly were some days (only some) when I was experiencing some of the side effects that are listed on the bottle (nothing else), however, they weren’t bad at all, that is why they didn’t bother me so much and what’s the most important is that they didn’t disturbed my every day activities. I have started off with 40 mg of it a day and now I went up so I use 80 mg a day that is why I need to tell you that you need to keep track of the daily dosage in case you are going to use it for more than let’s say… at least one year. Anyway, now… I simply cannot go anywhere without using it, I am an big fan of Strattera, I love it very much for everything it has done for me and I can mention here: I am getting my work done, always. I am always focused on whatever I need and I want and, what’s the most important point here is that I am able to be me and I am still functioning as a normal human being I am. I am definitely advising Strattera for everybody who are suffering with ADHD as I was suffering and still suffer if I don’t use it. that’s a reaaally good product that would help you a lot. the only thing is that for the first couple of months it is going to take some time to get used to it, however, be sure that you will do and it would be awesome! Of course I am not sure if my review would help somebody, but I really hope that it did because I know what’s that living with ADHD and that’s not fun at all. Strattera is the way to go. I wish you good luck all.

After a couple of years while being unsuccessfully treated for depression, my family doctor has diagnosed me with ADD. For this purpose he gave me this medication called Strattera. I have been on it only for one month and I already want to know: is this what is life like for all other people too??? Is it real that the life can be really so effortless?? All of those extraneous thought I have had are gone now. I am able now to listen to all people all the way through an entire sentence and I am feeling now a lot more connected to the whole world. A lot much more if compared to how I used to be in the past. I am a new me now. regarding the side effects of this drugs are: the first a few days of administrating thin drug I have had some headaches but now, for a while, they have disappeared. The only thing that keeps disturbing me a little is that it seems that I am not able to sleep more than 6 or 7 (max 7) hours, however I am fine. taking a nap is hard, but it does help (and I have a feeling that this side effect would also go away), besides, who cares about it? the life is awaiting me. the drug is good, I do recommend. You just need to be diagnosed right, because when I was not diagnosed as I should be I couldn’t get any help. now I am finally helped.

Rating this drug is pretty hard for me. While it does seem to be effective this drug is very dangerous and as a final rate, I personally wouldn’t recommend it to anybody but for those who actually don’t care and they still take it or they give it to their children then I suggest you all to pay a lot of attention. Why I’m telling you all this? this is from my own experience. When I was in high school my parents forced me to take this drug. Of course back then I didn’t know for sure what I am taking. There was something that was very clear to my parents as well as to everybody else around me and it is that I am having ADD and that’s since I was a little child. My symptoms weren’t so obvious because I wasn’t one of those crazy hyper active and wild children, however, I have had an extremely hard time to pay attention to anything (especially school and homework) and it was also very hard for me to wake up from my “imaginary world”. So well, this is why, when I was already in high school my parents couldn’t resist any more like that and they took me to a doc who officially diagnosed me with ADD and prescribed me this drug. A couple of first months seemed to be just fine. I didn’t seem to have any side effects and the drug really seemed to work because I was able to pay attention and to come to real world which made my grades go up a little bit. While being on the drug I was a B+ student instead of the C- I was in the past. Everything seemed just fine and my parents were happy until a little bit later while I was on this drug I became very and very depressed, I became the most depressed person that I ever knew. I’m a painter and if I’m not drawing anything I just don’t feel fine and well, having this said – I stopped drawing very quickly and I didn’t even touch my brush for about half an year! This thing has changed a lot. it has changed my personality. Besides stopping drawing I stopped to talk with my friend, in fact, I lost my friends because of this. I became so depressed that I started to develop suicide thoughts, I wanted to die! When this thought popped into my mind that I’m feeling so because of the drug I stopped to use it and that week I’ve done it was the week that I started to feel normal again. I regained my life back. Look, if you do not want this to happen to you then you should forget about this drug. Especially parents that intend to give it to their children. Even if you do so, please pay attention to his or her thoughts and behavior. A slight appearance of depression and you need to stop giving it to your children! Conclusion: the drug is effective, it made my grades go up, but it made me depressed and my own well being was at risk – this is not worth it!

I’m going to try to make this review as much as detailed as I can in order to help new users of this drug (after all, everything we’re doing here and the reviews’ real purpose is to help other people, right?) so, I am a 27 years old male and I have been an active user of this drug for the past 2 years (almost 2 years). I need to start by saying that while I’m on this drug I am able to notice essential differences in my focus – it has improved a lot! besides that (or it is the same, I don’t know) I’m not having anymore the feeling like my mind is constantly in a fog or something, my mind does drift anymore (especially compared to how it used to be in the past). I am using 60 mg of this medicine a day while I weight 70 kg. I think that this is very important to mention because as we all know, dosages are different for everybody and dosage is a very important point that we should take in consideration and as much as I know, the dosage for this drug is supposed to be 1 mg per 1 kg of your body weight, therefore it means that I’m eventually using 10 mg less of what I am actually supposed to use in order to have some good effects – but I still have them. besides, this medication has helped me to control my anxiety making it going down and besides my anxiety going down it also made me a little bit dutiful. Now, regarding the side effects that I have from this medicine – sometimes I am getting a little bit of lightheaded feeling as well as a little bit of nausea in case I’m not using it with food but I take it on an empty stomach. Taking it with food everything is fine. but other side effect is that I’m having dry mouth as well as my urine seem to be pretty concentrated, that’s because this drug is drying my body out so that is why I need to drink a lot of water in order to keep my body’s water level in a good range. Talking about the sexual side effects this drug carries: I do have a slight discharge of my seminal fluid one time or two times, however the biggest and worst effects that in my opinion other men are having is because of the dehydration that they are having from this drug. In case you’re having some sexual side effects while using Strattera then I would recommend you to try to increase the intake of fluids (drink lots of water, tea etc. etc.) because it really seems to help a lot when it comes to fix the problem with concentration of the urine as well as the feeling like you have to continue to urinate more or to release the semen even though you actually don’t. I’m not sure if this is going to help you but I really hope so because this does seem to help me. I think that Strattera is a great drug as long as you’re drinking a lot of water through an entire day, every day. this way the side effects are decreasing a lot, plus it does help me to become a lot more successful and focused at my work. Overall, I’m feeling much better with it so I can recommend it, just make sure to follow my advice.

I’m only a 16 years old girl that was diagnosed with ADHD as well as mild depression. doctor said my mother that this medication would be the one I need for treating them. Horrific drug. Even though I had depression and ADHD I never had suicidal thoughts but… they appeared as soon as I started to use it. besides this, I was constantly throwing up because of it. I never had an appetite because of that horrible feeling I had “stuck in my throat”. Moreover – headaches, burning acid in my mouth and all down my throat as well as “strange” feeling all over. It did help a bit but the bad effects are not worth it.

I have got the diagnose of ADHD Dx at my age of 45 years. As soon as the diagnose was put, my doctors started to prescribe me dozen of medications. I was going up on my medication dosage starting from 25 mg, then raising to 50 mg and now I am taking 75 mg. this has happened with a lot of medications. only one of them I can say that actually worked. However, it worked for no more than one year (12 months) but I can say that its effects started to decrease in the 8th or 9th month. I’ve been on that mediation for 2 years. More than a year I’ve been fighting with this disorder. Surely, I’m feeling much worse when I am off all medicines, but in the same time, I’m not feeling normally. I’m just not feeling so sh**ty. I’ve been so long on medications but I still couldn’t feel that my easily irritability, and my focus and attention is under my control. Now I’m a little bit more than a year on Strattera. With this medication I’m having some troubles to urinate and a darker urine, I also have nausea, headaches as well as my mouth is always dry. Because of this I can’t say that I’m extremely happy with the results I have from it. my satisfaction is moderate. However, in the same time we need to take in consideration that it is a very expensive medication. Currently I am trying to search for an alternative medication treatment, even if it wouldn’t be cheaper but at least with better results. or with the same results but cheaper. I don’t know, we’ll see. Today I’ve read a lot of other people’s reviews about this drug and I have noticed that this drug has different effects on people, this is why, I can’t recommend you to take or not to take it.
