Trexall overdose
It is recommended to use calcium folinate in case of accidental overdose. Calcium folinate should be started as soon as possible (preferably within the first hour, at a dose greater than the dose of methotrexate).
Trexall adverse reactions
Hematopoiesis: leukopenia, neutropenia, lymphopenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia.
Digestive system: anorexia, nausea, vomiting, stomatitis, gingivitis, glossitis, pharyngitis; rarely - enteritis, diarrhea, erosive ulcerative lesions and bleeding, cirrhosis of the liver, liver necrosis, fatty liver, pancreatitis.

Trexall contraindications
Trexall is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to methotrexate or any other component of the drug, severe anemia, leukopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, renal or hepatic insufficiency.
The drug is not used during pregnancy and lactation.
Trexall special instructions
Do not mix high doses of methotrexate with certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including aspirin and other salicylates, diclofenac, indomethacin and ketoprofen (high risk of severe toxic effects).
Sulfonamides, phenytoin, phenylbutazone, aminobenzoic acid, probenecid, pyrimethamine, certain antibiotics (penicillin, tetracycline, chloramphenicol), indirect anticoagulants may increase the toxicity of methotrexate. Antibiotics such as tetracyclines and chloramphenicol reduce the absorption of methotrexate.
Retinoids, azathioprine, sulfasalazine may increase the risk of hepatotoxicity.
