What can I say? When I first started to take Vyvanse I was very happy because it worked from the beginning and I started to feel very good. I had no more problems with the concentration and I started to work normally as I did before. The real problem started after some month of administration. I don’t know if it’s because I got used of it or not but I noticed that the relax feeling that I experienced was no more. I started to feel myself irritated because I was concentrated, if you know what I mean. If at the beginning the only problem was the fact that I couldn’t concentrate now the problem is that this concentration irritates me. I started to scream at my family and to hate every little thing, even the food that I liked before. I began to have very serious problems with the anger control. I understand that I’m angry without any reason but I can’t control myself. When my doctor said that I should stop to use this drug I thought that was a very bad idea. I started to think that if I stop to use Vyvanse the difficulties of concentration will began again. I didn’t decided what to do, but these side effects are insupportable.

I would rate this Vyvanse medication 200 out of only 100! This is the best medication that the humans have ever created. I still have one little side effect but I’m not really sure if it’s the Vyvanse that causes it or not. I would like to believe that it is not this medication because, oh my god, this drug is really doing its job. The side effect is that I have started to experience some mild chest pains since I started to take this medication a few months ago. I have been to a doctor (to the ER) for an asthma attack, that’s because, for the last a couple of years (being diagnosed with Pre-ADHD and taking some meds) I have been slowly becoming an adult onset asthma. That is why, the doctors cannot really tell me precisely if I have them from the medication I am taking or from the asthma I have. I doubt that this is the Vyvanse because my doctor ER said that this is not Vyvanse and it shouldn’t cause chest pains at all, the same thing said my psychiatrist when I’ve told him about my problem (believe me, he is a professional). Anyway, my entire review can be concluded with I am in love with Vyvanse! It has changed my life to an entirely new level, a much better level! Since I am on this medication, I am a better version of myself than I have ever been! That’s why I am so in love with it! Really love the way it works!

My 8 years old son is on Vyvanse and he is way more emotional than it was before. He can be fine for about a minute but then he start acting and talking crazy things. He takes it for almost 2 years but I’m gonna stop giving him this medication because as a mother it is very hard to deal with this. Initially he started to take 20 mg per day, then after we noticed that he was doing better (he could focus and school grades went up) doctor said to up his dose from 20 to 40 mg. He can focus even better, school grades are very good, he is able to pay attention to everything but he is soooo emotional and moreover he said that he’s always followed by someone. He said that someone follows him everyone, he is being monitored and etc. this scares me. Besides all this I’ve noticed that my boy isn’t the same as it was before, he’s not the same person. He’s not abnormally rude, emotional, depressed and completely out of control. We, as his parents, can’t keep him under control. I would say that this drug changed one problem for another even bigger or something like this. I never thought about having a journal of his changing side effects I was noticing day by day but I should. He won’t take this drug anymore and I will talk to his doctor and see if there’s anything else for a child with adhd. Not really so good medicine as everyone else seems to claim…. unfortunately.

i am suffering from adhd for a really long time when i was firstly diagnosed as a kid in a young age. so many years passed until i finally found something that doesn’t let this disease interfere so much with my life. i was on many different medications that should help people with adhd, such medications as adderall xr, strattera, concerta and many others and the only thing i can say is that vyvanse is the best out of them all. i’ve been experiencing the best results with this medication compared to the results i was having on other meds. this medication really helps me to focus, i was completely unable to focus when i wasn’t on it. due to the fact that it helps me to focus it also helps to get things done, FINALLY. more than that it makes me act my age and it makes me to think before i act compared to how i was doing before taking this medicine. while i am taking vyvanse i can focus on one single thing at a time compared to before when i was trying to focus on ten or twenty thing at once. besides all this, there’s one thing that i like the most in this drug compared to others i’ve been before. yes, other drugs also helped me to concentrate and to get things done but in few weeks i was feeling a zombie. but now, vyvanse is treating my adhd and it doesn’t take away from my personality compared to other meds. i’m not feeling like a zombie anymore and this is a great feeling! since i’ve been on this drug i have never had a problem or a side effects. in other words i’m feeling like a completely normal man who doesn’t suffer from adhd. believe me or not, as i said i’ve been on many different meds for adhd and the best one is vyvanse. i recommend it to everybody who is diagnosed with this disease!

Was suffering from Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity (aka ADD) for two years, my life became miserable and I wasn’t able to do anything by myself. I was very tired, irritant, nervous etc etc. Now I’m very thankful to my parents who brought me forcibly to a doctor. As soon as doctor saw me he instantly prescribed me Vyvanse. I took this drug for a little less than a year and the results are WOW. The doctor is a really good man and he started at a low dose and by time he continued to get higher the dose until I reached the most effective and the most comfortable dose. I have stopped at 50 mg of this medicine. I do know that there are drugs that are doing only worse but this one has literally changed my life into a better one, much better I would say. That’s because I have started to lose weight (it was the first noticeable benefit for me), my parents said that my behavior became better, later I have suddenly realized that I’m not having depression anymore and in general I was feeling even happier than I ever was before! I wasn’t feeling tired at night and I wasn’t feeling depressed during the day, I could concentrate on my homework and on things I really need to do. I was barely thinking about food and in fact I was forcing myself to eat during the whole day, I had an absolute effect on it. I never complained that something is wrong with me. In the beginning I could not believe that this is me! I was doing so well that I even passed successfully my first college course I was always keeping up with my class and with my homework. I could even help my parents with housework too. Some months ago I was trying to NOT take this drug and I was feeling lethargic, and my tiredness returned right away in those days. That’s why I was trying to take it regularly and I was afraid that my symptoms would return if I would stop taking it. Later that really happened - I had to stop taking this drug due to low finances. In the beginning my parents purchased me this drug, later I purchased it and in the end I just could not afford it. I was concerned about what can happen next because I got used to it and honestly I was expecting that I will have some sort of withdrawal symptoms but I didn’t. I had absolutely no side effects, withdrawal symptoms or something like that! I guess my body and my brain took enough of this drug and now it’s working by itself. I guess that Vyvanse changed my way of life from its root. I am doing very well on a daily basis and I don’t need to take any medications now! I’m very thankful to this drug and I’m very pleased with the way it works, in the beginning I really thought that I would take it for the rest of my life but it seems that I don’t need it! Thanks one more time.

My child is having ADHD and we weren’t able to control it. Lately, as he grew up his behavior was getting even worse and we, as his parents were useless. Our doctor prescribed him Adderall XR. After few weeks we haven’t noticed any changes in his behavior. Side effects were minor it wasn’t a problem. The problem was that it didn’t work at all. Later, doctor said that we could try to give him this new drug on the market that is similar to Adderall XR. He said it should work due to its different properties. He warned us that like any other ADHD drug, this medication can and it will raise a patient’s heart rate and it is very likely that it can have an affect on his stomach. As I was ready to try everything just to help my child I agreed and bought Vyvanse. The doctor was right and the drug did upset our child’s stomach. He explained that the capsule is carrying its contents to stomach so this is nothing I should be worried about. Therefore, he recommended to open the capsule and to mix it with an apple sauce and to drink it while he is eating. This makes it a lot easier for the stomach. Once again, the doctor was right. Vyvanse is now working well on my child, his behavior uncommonly normal, his grates are much better than before and side effects are rarely seen. I’m very thankful to my doctor that has done so much for my child. I recommend this drug for patients with ADHD…
