Chest pain while running

Hi everyone, I’m 30 years, male. I do really love sports, I run regularly and also occasionally on my stationary bike. In spring and summer I use my bike even more frequently and also occasionally for transportation. What I rarely do is running on pavement and this because I have a terrible pain on my chest when I just start to run. I feel it in the center of my chest like a small ball. Suddenly it becomes difficult to breath and I have to stop. But the real problem is that even if I stop running, it continues and the intensity of this pain starts to decrease only after 30 minutes.

I go to the gym, five times per week. I run on the elliptical bike from 30 to 60 minutes and I don’t feel this pain.
Talking about my heart beats. It changes up without experiencing even the slightest hint of this pain.
I thought that maybe the problem is that I run on cold. I mean usually when I want to run it’s a little bit late and I prefer to run outside instead of going to the gym. So when I start running I instantly feel this chest pain. I don’t know if cold air could have something to do with my problem. But I will like to discover the origin of my pain and to eliminate it once and forever. Thank you so much for opinions and shares.

Hey there, I also seem to experience the similar kind of pain. I’m currently 25 years old female and I have always been practicing sports and been very active. However, whenever I run, I’m getting these chest pains, every single time without fail. It continues to hurt me for about 30 minutes or so after I stop and then it stops but sometimes I can also develop a strange and unpleasant cough through the whole day after that run. What I’ve noticed is that it’s getting even worse if it’s cold weather but I have it regardless of the weather. It never stopped, never diminished and there’s nothing to stop it. It’s going like that for years now and I’m getting very annoyed. I thought that sooner or later these pains would stop since I’m an active person, healthy eating and in general healthy way of life but they won’t go away for nothing in this world. Whenever I ask someone what should I do they keep telling me that I simply have to tough it out and then make it through getting started but I’ve done it and it doesn’t seem to work on me whatsoever. I’ve been tested for hernia and heart related problems, lung tests and allergy. Nothing came out. I thought maybe here I would find some answers but it seem I’m not that lucky so I have to search more. I just wanted to let you know my story and ask you to write me back in case you find something. That would be really really awesome! Thank you in advance.
