Feeling of fast movements

Well hi there, I am curious if anyone is experiencing something similar to what I’m feeling. I’m 21 years now and since about 12 years I have these strange feeling of fast movements. I don’t know how to explain it but I think those who have the same (I hope there are people like this) will understand me.

It doesn’t really bother me but, as I already said, I’m just curious what this. Maybe it doesn’t bother me because it rarely occurs; maximum 3 times a year, maybe a little frequent when I was a child.  In these moments I feel with all my body and mind that everything goes at a normal speed, but in my subconscious everything moves really really fast. I do not breathe fast or think fast or any other super natural action (I would like it) but it’s just like adrenaline filling my brain and my body. In these moments, when I move something in front of me I see it moving normally, but my brain gives it a super speed and psychologically I think it moves fast. I feel that when adrenaline is filling my brain and the blood is pumping fast in my subconscious everything goes fast, like this fast pumping blood is responsible for this feeling of fast movements. The strange thing is that I noticed that it occurs when I’m concentrating on something in particular. I’m not worried about it; it doesn’t causes me any problems, but I would like to get some answers please if possible.

Hope here I will meet other people experiencing this and an explanation of what this could possibly be. Thank you in advance.

Well, I see that I'm not the only one with this. I thought that I have something that no one ever heard of this, or to have it. You've described it very well and I do have the same questions. It also occurred when I was a little kid and also still have them nowadays. It is really hard to describe this feeling, I guess I wouldn't describe it this good. I'm also simply curious what this is because I it doesn't interfering with my life at all and I never thought to go visiting a doctor with this problem in particular. I have thought of asking a doctor when I will have something serious, but every time I go to visit one, I keep forgetting about this. Well, if someone knows what this is and will share his knowledge with us maybe I won't have the need of remembering what I have. Some opinions? Good luck everyone.

I was trying to find what is that feeling for a long time already. I don't know how it doesn't bother you, but in my case is quite stressful...

I'm 21 years male and in a quite good health condition. The first time I noticed it I was around 8 years old and I have them since then for minimum ten times a year. Each feeling I have it's lasting for about 15 minutes on average. I'm not sure but it seems I have them more frequent when I'm tired or when I stay some good hours at the computer. I'm a smoker and I've tried to smoke when I have it hoping that it was going to ease the feeling because I would chill out. I was totally wrong and it made myself feeling just worse.

When I have this and I feel like everything goes really fast around me my breathing is accelerating as well as blood pumping. Also I'm shocked that it occurs so rarely for you, in my case I felt it at least 3 times only in the last couple of months... I don't think it's dangerous for health but it's strange and everything that we don't know is making me being aware of it...

No one understands what is wrong with me and many people think that I'm lying even though I don't understand why I would do that.. Was hopin someone on the internet is going to understand me, I see that there are someone, but still no one knows how can I get rid of this...

I remember I had this fast feeling that you’re talking about when I was a child, they occurred in two different ages by a kind of “episodes”. I don’t have it now (I’m 40 years old) but I can’t say why these feelings disappeared. Now I don’t know for sure how old I was when I first experienced it but I think I was younger than 6 years old. My family now says that I wasn’t able to give them other explication than to say that I’m going fast and that’s all. It stopped for some years but at the age of around 15 years old I got back this feeling. I remember them very well even though a single feeling didn’t lasted longer than a minute and I had about 4 to 7 of these strange feelings in a month. At this age my mother took me more seriously so she took me to do some blood tests but the results were fine. We haven’t given up so we have done a lot of other tests with the help of different kind of doctors with different specialty but none of them could detect something. In the end after many tests and many weeks they have put it down to stress because they haven’t got any other option but I know for sure it wasn’t due to stress (what stress at 15 years old?). So today, many years later I still don’t know what that was but it was disturbing for me even though it doesn’t seem to damage my health at all. I know it is very strange but I can’t help you and sorry for this, I just wanted to support you and to let you guys know that you are not the only ones who had this fast feeling.

hey people, I’m also having this, in fact  I had it not so long ago today. I’m experiencing the “fast feeling” on and off for many many years. When this is happening my brain seems like it is processing everything around me very fast, or I would say too fast. Even all the sounds around me seem to be louder than usual. Everything around me feels like going very fast and very loud. In order to get rid of this feeling I am usually getting up and start to walk around a little bit and it disappears. I also seem to get this feeling when I’m concentrating on something for a little longer time than usual. That is why it is usually happening when I’m sitting in front of my computer. Today when it happened I was at the computer and to make it stop, I started to walk. I really don’t know what this is happening but could it be anxiety and stress? I would really like to know what this is and how to make it stop.
