yeah, familiar story.... i also was diagnoed with gittle syndrome about two and a half years ago and since then its been quite difficult for me to deal with it... and i even had depression for awhile after finding out. not so long ago i have finished with my therapy sessions and sincerely i'm doing much better with coping than i was doing before. however, it is still not easy or normal as it was before and my levels have never been managable in these past two years. that is why my medications have to be changed constantly. moreover, now i still get monthly blood work, however it is much better than how it was before, every week. obviously, i would wish not having it especially as a college student because it is very hard sometimes to deal with the negative effects. i wish you the best and hope your symptoms will ease. oh yes, i haven't been told but drinking can have on you levels, just in case you didn't know. i try to be responsible even though it's not that easy. also remember: even though gittle syndrome is not something good, there are a lot of other things much worse in this world. these are the words i say to myself whenever i feel down...
