Had nasal cauterization and I feel awful

Hey everyone, can someone help me? A doctor maybe? I had my nose cauterized yesterday and I’m still feeling awful! I thought it would pass quickly but I’m feeling like I broke my nose. I feel like I got crusty things in my left nostril and it didn’t stop sinus drainage, also after the procedure I got sore throat and whenever I walk the pains is getting worse. I cannot breathe out of my left nostril and it feels awful. Moreover I have pain in my teeth and gums, I don’t understand, is this normal having so much pain after it or I have some side effects? Is there someone who can help ?

I also have had nasal cauterization a week ago and I'm suffering now from the same symptoms as you. It feels like I broke my nose and my nostrils are full of crusty stuff in them. I couldn't breathe out of my nostrils due to these crusty things builded up on my skin in there. I was too afraid until today to pull out everything what was blocking my nose to breathe thru it. The burnt skin was with lots of dead blood vessels in it. I remember that any movement I've done with my head for example when I was walking it caused me more and worse pain. I took Tylenol for that pain. I hope that now you're doing fine because now it's a week from the cauterization and I'm feeling O.K, I can breathe thru my nose and I have no pain. hello, i would like to share my story if someone is interested. well, i would get nose bleeds every time i was having a sinus infection or i was crying pretty much. i was forced to have this nasal cauterization about 5 days ago and it hurt me pretty bad until yesterday the 4th day. the pain was so bad that i felt it all the way down my jaw irst days. 2 days ago, it means 3 days after the surgery i got that arsh, that black and grey thing out of my nose, it started to get out by itself so i got it all out. when i have done it my nose bleed like crazy because i was pulling the rest of it out and i think i made it worse than it was so i shouldn't do that. after that i am having nose bleeds about 5 times a day. at first i thought its something normal but now i have big doubts about that so i'm thinking about going to a ent and to find out why is that happening and what should i do. when i got the cauterization my doctor told me that i have about 40% that i will have to do the surgery again and i'm so worried about that! i really don't want to go thru that once again! now i regret pulling that thing out. i guess i shouldn't do that at all. and i think that i looked really stupid when i was doing that. hope that my story is going to help someone...

Sincerely I'm very glad that I found this site! Thanks everyone for supporting me by telling your stories, they really helped me because I thought that I'm already losing my mind! I also had my nose cauterized few days ago because I was having chronic nose bleeds. I have had really big pains, pains in my sinuses that I have never felt them before and my doctor only gave me advil saying that he has nothing to do else. It did help a little bit but not as near as I would call it "I'm feeling fine". Besides this unbearable pain I have done the same mistake as you sexted. I felt like there was stuff still in my nose last night so I pulled it out. Perhaps the biggest mistake I have done. By the way that's why I'm here, I was searching what I have done and I found your post that says you're about to have your second surgery because of this... Did you had it already or there was no need? Please I really need to know this. Yesterday it has started bleeding like crazy and I had to put something in my nose in order to stop the bleedings. I fell asleep with that thing in my nose (because the bleedings didn't stop). This morning I woke up and it stopped, I took that thing out of my nose and I have no bleedings but I'm really concerned that it is going to start all over again. Now I think that I should go to a ENT doctor again and to ask him what should I do now, but please someone tell me that there is another option than another surgery.
