Hello I have a very delicate problem and I don’t know how to deal with it. Not so long ago I found out that I developed a swelling on the outside part of my anus. I don’t know what is the thing that provoked such a disease, because I’m not overweight and I have a good balanced diet plus I’m quite active and my work is linked to constantly walking and movement which means a healthy lifestyle. The swollen part creates me some discomfort but I hope that it wouldn’t become worse and it would disappear. At the beginning I have had pus and after the antibiotics that my doctor prescribed me I noticed that the pus started to disappear and there suddenly appear a lot of blood that expelled from the swollen part. I didn’t know that this is a external hemorrhoid since I was examined by my doctor after the pus passed and he told me that the situation is more serious than he expected.
I don’t know how to evaluate the situation and I don’t know what to expect but I really hope that it will pass soon. I have a couple of questions that I would like to ask you them, maybe here I would find somebody who knows better. If somebody knows something please help me. the first thing that I would like to clarify is why do my doctor misdiagnosed me the first time and why the second time he told me that it’s more serious that he expected. I’m a little bit scared because if he misdiagnosed me for the first time then he could do the same thing for the second time and it does seem a big problem. The second thing that I would like to know is how much the bleeding will continue? Is this just the blood that comes out from the swelling part or it’s more serious and I have to worry? My doc told me that the bleeding has to stop after 24 hours but actually it still bleeds so his statement was wrong and I am now having doubts about what he’s saying... If the bleeding is a normal thing then I would like to know how much time it will take to recover from this issue? Is there somebody else who have ever suffered from something like this before? Thank you very much in advance for all your help and advices.
