sometimes I experience high blood pressure
can I use erectile dysfunction medicine while experiencing hypertension?
I'm asking because maybe I can take low doses of ED drugs or it is prohibited?
Usually, the main cause of erectile dysfunction is hypertension. Theoretically, you can use ED medicine if you experience high blood pressure. Viagra or Cialis are working by widening the blood vessels. On the other hand, you cannot take ED drugs if you are using hypertension medicines. One medicine wide the blood vessels and another is narrowing them. Thus, you may experience severe symptoms such as passing out, severe dizziness, lightheadedness, and others.
In most severe cases, this medicine interaction may cause a life-threatening or even fatal drop in blood pressure. Additionally, there are many factors that can cause ED such as street drug use, alcoholism, mental disorders (such as depression), high levels of cholesterol in the blood, low testosterone, cardiovascular disease, and others.
In conclusion, I think you should better talk to a doctor before administering even low doses of ED medications. It will be more effective and safe.
