so about 2 months ago i first felt weird pain in my testicles. the pain isn't permanently, but it permanently goes on and off, and it is more acute in my left testicle. also on my left testicle is a little bump, or something like that on it's top. i think that's the cause of my pain. i don't know what is it or where did it come from (i didn't had unprotected sex nor i was hit in my testicles) i can't describe the pain or how i feel when i have it but it affect even my leg. at the beginning i thought it will pass but now im getting scared because the bump appeared and my testicles are sore now. all this starts interfering my life, sometimes i can't sleep normally or concentrate at something. i'm really frustrated about it. i will do an xray to see if is something serious but until i do it i want to know if someone has this testicle pain ? or you may know what is it and how to treat it? advice please

Hey man, you really should go to visit a doctor as soon as possible. Anytime you see a lump on your testicle you should hurry up to see a urologist. Probably you should do an ultrasound too. Go to the emergency room if needed because you need to treat it quickly, if you will wait it can get worse and it will be harder to treat. It can be nothing (which I wish you, but low chances of being so), but it can be an infection or even worse testicular cancer. Both of them are harder to get rid of if you are slowing down. You need to be checked quickly and don't be shy about it. You can be embarrassed now doing nothing and you will regret all your life after it. Good luck man and be healthy ;)

hi... i some of have the same symptoms as you. the only difference is that i have the pain in both of my testicles =[ also the pain isn't permanent but it started getting worse and worse instead of lowering the pain. it started with burning pains down both legs and even my penis... i was and i am still worried and scared about it, i've visited a doctor but even though my situation is aggravating he said that i have nothing to worry about, he said that's it's a simple cyst and it's common for many men. i started thinking that he was joking or he doesn't know what he is doing. maybe someone on this forum can help me and give me an useful advice? what should i do to get rid of this pain? i'm thinking of going at hospital to emergency room if the situation is going to get worse. thanks...

I have had the same symtoms as you have: dull pains in my right testicle, annoying and discomfort sensation and pains in my leg. I went immendiately to my doctor. I recommend you the same, visit a doctor as soon as you can and do not be ashamed or embarrassed because testicular problems can lead to infertility if not cured. So, I went to the doctor and he sent me to the urologist and they did an ultrasound on my both testicles to make sure that I had no torsion there. The ultrasound showed that there was no torsion (thanks God) but it showed up that there was an infection. I went back to my doctor who said that I have epididymitis (he suspected it) and put me on anti-biotics. He said that I shoult take ibuprofen for pain and inflammation if I have it and to just rest for a while (rested organism is healing quite better and faster). It has been for over a month now and I have had this treated twice so I'm going for my third treatment soon. You should know that epididymitis can be very hard to get rid off.

Well, I don't want to scare you because this doesn't mean that you have epididymitis, it is only my story, but you don't know until you are checked out. I recommend you to go at the emergency room if needed because it can have a very bad ending if you won't treat it in time. Having strange, unexplained pains, a lump and something similar down there isn't a good sign at all. When I first joined this forum and read your posts I have done a little research and found out that epididymitis is very common for males. As I said, I don't want to scare you, I advice you not to be ignorant and to get checked. Good luck everyone with this and I hope that everything is normal, but if not then may the God be with you and help you in your treatment.

I have also had the same thing on my left testicle for many years now but few weeks ago it flared up the second time and it seems that it is much worse than it was the previous time. For about a month now I'm experiencing a lot of symptoms: pains shooting like all over my body especially down to my legs, dull and very intense and sharp pain in my testicle and the area around it tingles like it's fallen asleep but my doctor keeps telling me that this isn't serious. I'm not a specialist and it may be nothing serious but it hurts like hell and I want to treat it down! All my muscles are very tense 24/7 because they are contracting all the time because of the shooting pain, this problem is really interfering with my life. When I have visited my doctor when I had this thing the first time he said that it is just an irritated nerve thats causing the blood vessels to swell and nothing more so a course of anti inflammatories would be great. Well it worked great that time and everything seems to go away but now it's not that easy! I'm on a lot of types of pain killers and anti inflammatories but the pain keeps bothering me. This can't be normal, I'm sure that something is wrong but I cannot understand why the doctor isn't helping me. I went to another doctor to get a second opinion but he said the same thing as the first one and nothing more. What can I do about that? I don't really know what could cause all this, my only thoughts is that I'm not eating quite healthy and I'm not exercising too much. I also have a bit of stress lately but I doubt these two problems are somehow related between. It's not that easy for me to deal with this problem when doctors seems to be useless. This is the reason why I am here, maybe someone knows what is going on, please let me know if there is someone. Thank you a lot.

Hey guys. I know what you are talking about. I see that there is nobody who posted anything that might be helpful so I guess I am going to be the first person here trying to do so. I have also been trying to fix the same pain as it was described by many of you in this thread. I have been prescribed an antibiotic by my doc for 20 days in order to fix this issue and even though it did not really fixed this issue, it really did seem to help a bit.

I have been searching and tracked the problem down to a couple of herbal supplements that I have been using and the real kicker is that I have spent a bit more than a month after I have stopped to take the supplements for that the pain to stop.

Those supplements were for prostate and another one for libido. Both of them have had a lot of the same ingredients in them. so far, I have not had any success but I did not really tried. I have not isolated that ingredient that was causing me the pains, however, there is a list of some of the things that you might want to stay away of for a while and then check if this is helping you or no:

Maca, Niacin, Ashwagandha, Yohimbe, L Arginine, Horny Goat Weed Extract, Ginger Root Extract.

I’m not sure whether will this help or no, but I hope so.

Hey people. your posts got me intrigued because one day I have been sitting at my work as usual and then all of a sudden appeared a sharp pain in my left testicle and then, after that, I have felt a sharp pain in my pelvic too that was going from the left to the right. since that day, I am having a dull and sharp pain in my right testicle as well as some pains on my butt and sometimes in my legs too. I’ve been thinking about infections, I have been to the hospital for a blood work to rule it out and I’m not having any infections. Besides that, I have some sharp pains too in my lower abdomen, however, I’m not having it that often. One very weird thing is that I have the tingle feeling (it is hard for me to describe this feeling) in my scrotum as well as another strange feeling like I am just about to faint. However, as soon as I am sitting down – it disappears. Is there somebody who can help me please?
