Itch All Over My Body

I'm experiencing a strange and pricky itch all over my body for about three weeks. The strange part is that I don't feel the itch in my feet, only in my feet unfortunately, elsewhere I'm getting this annyoing itchy feeling. The itch is moving all over my body continuously, within 5 minutes it is changing the location anywhere on the body! I first noticed the itch right after a trip out of my city so I guess I got something from there that seems not to go away. Sometimes I can notice some little raised bumps but they're gone most of the time. I don't know what this could be from, maybe some food that I ate there? Or maybe something from the hotel I stayed? I'm clueless.

It is a bigger problem that it seems to be because I'm always tired, I can't sleep at night due to the itch. I have tried several medications including benadryl and nothing seems to work on me. It's really hard to deal with this when you have it continuously. Beside being tired I can't concentrate on anything in particular because, for example, right now in this moment my right arm, right side of neck, back of left knee are prickly itchy. I'm tired to scratch... Sometimes, if I simply touch them, or when I scratch the itchy part the feeling goes away for some time, however, as you can understand, it comes back. No doubt I went to see a doctor, a dermatologist, made some tests and he can't see anything wrong with me. He asked me if I'm on some meds - I'm not and I have eliminated contact dermatitis and food allergies. Well I'm out of ideas but I want to get rid of this as soon as possible. If anyone has any ideas, or someone has this too please let me know!

wow the same thing is happening to me, i am also suffering from this migratory skin itch since last week and i still got it. its driving me nuts, i cant get to sleep at night sometimes and i'm very frustrated! i took some tablets to stop this annoying itchy skin but as i am here writing this post, they didn't work. now my doctor have taken some blood and am waiting for results of allergy tests but i'm very concerned he won't find anything. he gave me not only one kind of tablets, but effects are still a big fat zero. the first days when i got this i thought it is going to stop, not it is a week so i can't stand that anymore. this prickly itchiness has been appeared all over the body without any rash or lumps that is why is hard for doctors to find a solution. even though i don't have big hopes that something im going to find out after the test results i want this to happen really bad. until then i will wait for any ideas as soon as possible near you borella.

Hey there, I have a similar issue to what you have and it started for about a month now. When I first noticed it I had this itchiness under my chin that is why my first thought about it that it is due to shaving rash and I didn’t thought that it could be a serious problem as it is now. After that, problems begun to appear and after the itch under my chin I got it also on my neck, ears and scalp and within few days the itchiness was already down my trunk on my butt and also on my legs arms things and even calves. I also noticed that this itch is getting even worse at nights and in the evenings, I don’t really know why. After I had this itch 2 weeks my face began to swell and it was about to turn red, however it went away, Thank God. Now the areas that are affected by this are dry and have an appearance like sight sunburn. Even though I have all these symptoms none of the doctors to whom I was could help me. The dermatologist made blood test on me, urine test, stool and eve had a chest x-ray and all of them came back to be normal. This is crazy! The truth is that I never visited an allergy specialist so I’m going to see one in few days truly hoping that he is going to help me out. Until I’m going to see the specialist I thought that I might get some answers on internet forums so please, let me know everything you’ve got.

I’m having very itchy skin for about more than a month but I don’t show any signs of any kind of rash. What is strange that this is happening in the evenings, in every evening. The itch starts with my feet but it goes up until I got itchiness almost everywhere on my body. Benadryl (topical) doesn’t help me much but I found that if I take Benadryl (in tablets form) about in the evening when I know that the itchiness is going to appear I am protected from this and I stay itch free. I am thankful for this also because if I don’t take them the itch gets very intense, I mean VERY intense because I scratch myself so bad that I start bleeding so I can’t sleep or get very little sleep. However for me isn’t the best option to take pills all my life so I want to know how to get rid of this once and forever. I don’t really know what my problem is because on the skin it doesn’t seem to be something and the skin isn’t dry. I don’t seem to have any known health problems, maybe only some vaginal fungus but the doctor said that it is common for many women but the itchy skin isn’t as common so I don’t think they can be somehow connected between them. Anyway, lately I start to panic because of this so I start thinking that it could be the infection that’s attacking my body, who knows? Any other idea I don’t have, I don’t take any medications (besides Benadryl for itch itself), I don’t have new shampoo nor new laundry detergent. I really don’t know what to do or what to think about it. I would be very thankful for anyone who’s going to tell me what this is, why it appeared and how to make it to disappear?

Hey guys, I understand what are you going through because I have been dealing with the same condition for many years now. This "unknown" itch is following me everywhere and anywhere and it seems that there’s nothing that can help me in order to stop it. Surely, in all these years of suffering I have visited many doctors specialized in different fields and none of them can understand what is wrong with me and why I have that itch (in fact, as the majority here). I have had many tests done as to check my body functions like liver condition, kidneys condition, a bunch of blood tests and so on and in the end, everything comes back completely fine. A lot of dermatologists that have seen me and my internal medicine doctors cannot give me another logical reason than that it may be an anxiety or stress related thing that somehow can cause me this itchiness. In my opinion it may possibly have something to do with what they are saying but there’s another thing. I noticed that this itch come around a couple times a year when it’s worse and usually it’s getting worse in September and April (at least, for me). During those period of the year I have the intense itching but I can also say that I have it regardless of the time of the year but in minor intenseness than September and April. Also, especially in hot days. I guess that as everyone around here, I have tried many lotions etc etc and they do absolutely nothing. I’m getting really concerned lately that it might be something serious or life threatening and this is the reason why I’m trying to check regularly the forums and to see what other people are posting about this thing. I would really like to know if there is someone who have ever treated this thing completely and how he or she has done it. By the way, I have noticed that a nice glass of wine would help me escape from this itch for a period.
