Aygestin (norethindrone) is contraindicated in patients with abnormal liver function, thrombophlebitis, thrombosis, thromboembolism, liver tumors, herpes, uterine bleeding of unknown origin, idiopathic jaundice, endometrial cancer, mammalgia (pain in the breast), hormone dependent tumors of the genital organs and breast cancer. The drug is not used during pregnancy.

Climacteric syndrome: take 1 tablet per day in combination with estrogen drugs (if necessary). In all cases, the dosage should be individualized depending on the nature of the disease and the patient’s response.
If you take Aygestin, you need to be extremely careful. Tablets must be taken continuously and regularly (preferably in the same time).
