(Updated: November 30, -1)
I am now using 1750 mg of this drug CellCept a day under the supervision of my doctor. He was the one who recommended it to me for fighting with an autoimmune disease that it is called dermatomyositis and that looked to be unbeatable. That’s because when my doctor and I have started to search for some possible drugs that would keep under control this disease it seemed that we would never find. He gave me a lot of other and different drugs but none of them seemed to help until one they, we have finally found out about CellCept. This medicine has really done a lot for me and I’m very thankful to it and to my doctor who prescribed it to me (and by the way, he said that this is my last hope because if CellCept wouldn’t work, he has no ideas what we should do next), happily it worked and I’m happy, especially because after I saw that I’m having very severe nausea from those other drugs, and I don’t have any from CellCept. I am very happy now and very proud to finally say that for the most part, this horrible disease is managed after being on this drug for about 2 years (by the way, I’m also using prednisone with amlodipine but these 2 are on a very low dose). By the way, whoever intends to use this drug then I would recommend you to experiment with it, that’s because I have found myself that I’m a lot better when I’m taking CellCept only 1 time a day during the nighttime, instead of what my doctor firstly recommended me to take it 2 times per day, during the day. Obviously I am doing it after I have discussed with my doctor and I’ve told him that I’m doing better, I’ve got his permission after he has done an blood work and said that it is fine. if I am taking how he firstly told me to take (2 times during the day) then I was feeling very fatigued. By the way, I have seen other people saying that they are experiencing hair thinning while on the drug and I can report the same thing. later I have found out that I am better with the name brand than with the generic and I don’t know for sure but I can assume that it might have something with my dietary sensitiveness. I was on the brand name and I seemed to be pretty fine but when I changed to generics it made me feel very fatigued and as soon as I changed back to brand name I was fine back. That’s why I assume that each one of us should try everything and see what better works for them. now I’m only scared about the fact that I have no idea what should I expert from a long term treatment with this medicine at my age of 40 years old and I really really hope that I won’t be on this medicine like for all my life. I’m very thankful to this drug because it has really made a good job with fighting this horrible disease I have, but I don’t want to be on it forever…
