It is used for the following diseases/conditions: dermatophyte infections, versicolor tinea, folliculitis caused by Malassezia, candidiasis of the skin, mouth and throat, chronic form of candidiasis of the mucous membranes. In addition, Nizoral is indicated for the treatment of systemic fungal infections: coccidioidomycosis, paracoccidioidomycosis, blastomycosis and histoplasmosis. Nizoral contraindications
