I am currently 10 weeks into the total 12 weeks treatment with a combination of interferon, ribavirin and this drug called sofovir, the generic of sovaldi. So far I am extremely happy, especially if compared to the first treatment I have had. Yes, this time it is my second time that I am on the treatment. the first time while I have been on the treatment has been with interferon, ribavirin and with Victrelis. The only drug that have been changed was Victrelis with this one Sofovir and I am already much much more better. I have to say that I have collapsed the first time because I have been felling extremely EXTREMELY bad during the whole half a year of treatment that I have taken and in the end virus has returned and it means that I have had that treatment for no avail. Anyway, this time around, the treatment with Sovaldi is just a cake walk. The side effects are very minimal compared to the last time, in fact, compared to the last time they are like not there at all. this time I am still sick, have some insomnia, fever as well as some bone pain, however they are mild compared to the last time. especially because this time I have to endure only 12 weeks so I can easily do it for less than 3 months. I can say that I am very and very thank for this drug with the way it works. The virus is already undetectable and it has been undetectable after only 4th week but I need to finish the course so the virus won’t return. Really hope that it won’t. initially I have been very hesitant to start a Hep C treatment once again, however now I am very glad that I have done it. I recommend to everyone suffering from this virus.

Hello everyone. I am 49 years old female and I have been given Sofovir for Hep C which has been diagnosed not very long time ago but I have discovered that I have it for a very long time: in 1988 when I gave birth to my first daughter. After the labor I required blood because of the complications that I have had during my daughter’s birth, I have been only 21 years old. the last year, somewhere in september or so (2015) I have went in for getting a colonoscopy due to the fact that I have been feeling extremely tired all the time. generally I’ve been feeling sick. I did not know what’s certainly wrong with me but I knew that there is surely something wrong with me. that generalized sick feeling got to that point of when I was feeling like I have been dying. I also have to mention that I have been taking Enbrel for a lot of years now and with all of the side effects and the warnings that I have got I have been convinced that I most probably have had some kind of cancer or something in this matter. very well, after the tests and everything else the doctors found out that I have been infected with this virus hep c and they told me that it might have happened from that blood transfusions that I have had in 1988. I also need to mention here that even though I have had a liver panel blood work every 3 months since the time I have started with the Enbrel – my liver panels always came back normal. This is pretty strange I think. that is why I need to warn you to be careful because the Hep C might not be detected right away. I have started to take Sofovir with Olysion as my doctor told me to and my virus got cleared up in less than a month (got checked in the 27th day of my treatment and the virus load has been 0). The side effects were very mild to none at all, this is why I recommend it to everybody. good luck
