Stelara

As soon as I have had my first dose of Stelara, all the affected areas on my body (I mean my back, my hips, front legs, behind my ears, rear end and the hair line) got cleared almost completely. It was a shock for me because I have used a lot of other medications but none of them seem to treat these areas for at least 10%. Stelara did it after the starter dose and did it by much more than 10%. After I have had the second shot of Stelara until present I am perfectly fine with my skin totally cleared up. Side effects are unnoticed except one. I am not sure if Stelara is responsible for this issues but I guess that everything is possible. Well, I have raised LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol). My doctor said that there is almost no way that Stelara could be responsible for this, however, I guess that it would be better to take in consideration everything that is possible. My doctor ordered to have a regular liver enzyme test and it came back with a full liver profile. My total cholesterol showed 350. As I know (I checked my cholesterol in the past for a couple of times) it has never been more than 220 but back then I was drinking every single weekend (now I don’t), I was smoking (now I don’t) I was much more overweight than now and I was having a horrible eating habit. After one week we have tested my cholesterol again and it showed 344. The doc said that we should wait a little bit more and I have had another test after 3 months and it was 280. I don’t know how much time it needs to be in a normal range and I still didn’t found out if it has something to do with Stelara. I hope it doesn’t. Anyway, Stelara is surely helpful against psoriasis.

I think that trying stelara is the best decision I have ever made in my life. I’m 23 years old female and I’m suffering from plaque psoriasis for years. I was only 13 years when I got it. Best thing ever created against psoriasis! If you suffer from this condition, stelara is your savior! Trust me! I’m now 45 years old but I was only 39 when I first noticed psoriasis symptom: redness on my elbows. Back then I didn’t even knew about such a disease. After it appeared on my elbows it started to spread down on my body to my torso, buttocks until it reached my legs and obviously my arms were also affected. Two years ago I was diagnosed with this horrible disease I never heard before: psoriasis, that covered more than 25% of my total body. I have tried many, many things like creams and lotions to counter the effects of the disease. Nothing worked. Went to a private dermatologist who prescribed me a drug that finally actually worked: Humira. It seemed to work a little bit since it cleared me up to no more than 5% of my body after about 2 months of using it but the shots were so painful I could not resist it anymore. I don’t know how I could resist that pain for the whole 2 months but I told my doctor I won’t do it anymore. He finally told me about Stelara! Best drug I’ve ever seen! It has changed my life so much! I can finally wear everything I want and not to be ashamed! I take it for about 5 months and I’m completely (all 100%) cleared up! There’s no sign of psoriasis on my body anymore! I’ve noticed big improvement within few weeks of using this product and furthermore no painful shots anymore! I do understand that I’m one of the lucky ones because the doctor said I’m his first patient with such a good result! My conclusion is: if you have psoriasis and nothing works for you then Stelara might be that something you were searching for.
