I have the type 2 of diabetes and I had problems with my diabetes during my entire life. I had tried different types of drugs during my life. Recently I finished using metformin. Honestly it did nothing to control my diabetes. My blood level was always different and the sugar levels as well. My doctor recommended me to try Victoza some months ago and it did an incredible job. During 3 days the sugar in my blood was under control and I started to feel myself very good. The only thing is that after some days I started to have some strange reactions to this drug. I have had a terrible indigestion and it made me feel a stomach pain. This indigestion was not a simple one. I was having a terrible smell like of some rotten eggs. It was awful to experience this. During some months I’ve lost 30 pounds because of this indigestion. I have had difficulties while eating. I never felt myself hungry and during these months I did not noticed the hungry absence. I had no nausea or other diseases just the sensation that I don’t want to eat. I talked to my doc and he said that it’s quite normal and that’s because I have changed this drug. I’m still using Victoza and besides all of the side effects I’m satisfied because it’s doing its job very well. Its controlling my diabetes very well in comparison with other drugs.

Hello. I am also a Victoza user. I am a 43 years old woman and I was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 a little more than 3 years ago when I was around 40. As soon as I got the diagnosed I was put on Metformin which didn’t delivered really much success so later they added glipizide to it but with these 2 along I was gaining half a pound per day, every single day which means that in 30 days while I was taking it I gained 15 lbs. After one month of taking it and plus 15 lbs I quit taking those medications so then, the doctor put me on Victoza. Honestly, at first I thought that this is a horrible drug but everything changed later. That’s because for about 3 weeks or so I was getting stomach upsets every single day all day long. In short, I was having unstoppable stomach pains for 3 weeks. Moreover, it made me exhausted, I had absolutely no energy, it was very bad. Well, for example, I was getting out of my bed and then I would get dressed right after that I laid back again in bed because I was already exhausted. Believe me or not but it was really that bad. However, after about one month or so I was feeling fine back again while I was still taking Victoza. In fact, I don’t really know what happened that I resisted to continue taking this drug for so long without having energy and with those stomach pains. Anyway, lucky me I didn’t stopped taking Victoza and I guess that my body got used to it so after that it delivers me only positive effects: after one month and a couple of weeks/days my A1C dropped down from 9.3 to 5.3 and it never got up again. Now, my numbers would never raise up more than 130 and still, 130 is only then after I am having a can of Pepsi or something like that, otherwise it’s even lower. Moreover, I have lost those 15 lbs gained from the previous drugs and other 15 lbs as well, which means 30 lbs in total, and that’s only in one month and a half. This drug is just awesome, in fact, it is a life changer! I would recommend Victoza to everybody, just resist the initial suffering that includes being always exhausted and the unstoppable stomach pains without giving up on it and then a way better life is guaranteed to you. Besides all this, I am having a discount for it so I pay only $25 per one month. Really pleased with this medicine!

I’ve taken victoza for about one year and a half and it’s really doing its job but I can’t go into “remission”. My doc prescribed me this drug to help me in losing weight and in the same time to support me with the diabetes type 2 I have. While on this drug my glucose levels are fine, all within the limit range and it keeps like that for all the period I’m on the drug. It was working so good that the doc suggested to “go into remission” and to stop taking the medicine for a few months and only then to retest the A1C level I have. It all seems good but as soon as I stopped taking this victoza I started right again to eat too much and my weight lose stopped. After I saw these results I started immediately to take it back and I hope that I will lose a few more pounds continuously. No side effects during all this time and no regrets that I took it. It really helps with my diabetes and losing some weight. The only thing that disturbs me is that it has a high price…. Other than that it’s very good

Victoza is a perfect drug by now. I’m using it for a little more than one week and there’s nothing I can complain about. My rating would be 100 out of 100, seriously! I also was on Byetta but this one is much better. I had steroid injections due to neck surgery that I had few years ago. Those steroids made me nearly a diabetic. I’m still wondering if I’m already not one. My blood sugar levels were dramatically changing up and down, up and down, really crazy! I was really worried, this wasn’t any fun and games but then everything ended when I was put on Victoza. Seriously, my blood sugar levels are great and I’m doing fine! Tho I don’t know what will happen when I will no longer take this medicine, but being on it feels just perfect! The blood sugar levels in the morning is anywhere between 80 and 85 and only after I eat something it shows 115 or maybe 120. I’ll see how it goes further but as I said, by know, everything is just perfect. I’m pleased. Thanks.

Great and helpful drug! I would recommend it to everyone who is suffering from diabetes. I have been diabetic type 2 for about 22 years and I have found some relief only with the help of this medicine. Before I ever found about this drug my sugar levels were totally uncontrolled and it seemed that nothing could help me. That’s because I have hypothyroid that is making it very and very difficult to keep it under control. Especially my weight. It’s soooo hard to lose some weight!! However, few months ago my doctor said that this Victoza should help me and it really did! I’ve lost more than 50 lbs now with the help of this drug along with others diabetic meds. First few weeks I could not believe how well I’m tolerating this medicine. My glucose levels are under control since I’ve started the treatment and overall I feel much better than before. I also try to eat only healthy food with a balanced diet but anyway I couldn’t get so far without the help of this med. Now, my cravings are completely gone and I have no desire of eating, especially unhealthy food. I’m truly thankful to my doctor who prescribed it to me. I would really rate this medicine with all 100%. Oh yeah, and no side effects were noticed in all these months! I know that this med possibly won’t work for everybody but I can sincerely say that it’s worth a try. I hope that everyone who would use this drug will get the same great results as I have! Good luck people and be healthy!
