Alesse

Alesse is the first and the only BC pill that I have ever been prescribed and that I have ever used. Today I’m going through the second year of using this drug and I can say that I’m quite satisfied with it. even though I cannot give it a 5 stars grade I can definitely say that it is worth if a strong 4 stars grade or even 4.5. at the beginning when I was searching for a good Birth Control pill I was very hesitant to use any hormonal contraceptives due to my uncontrollable mood swings as well as disturbing spotting. Anyway, I can say now that while being on Alesse I didn’t experienced any of these side effects and I’m very happy about it. for me this is really a success. However, I have heard that it should make my skin to become somewhat clearer and unfortunately I cannot say that it made it, or maybe it’s just me who haven’t noticed it but I highly doubt about it. No, I’m not suffering from any severe acne or something like that but it also didn’t clear up my pimples either. But I do realize that this is not the biggest possible issue that could be. Anyway, I do experience one side effect that is quite unpleasant for me: I am experiencing weight gain while I’m on this BC. That’s because I have noticed that while I’m on the pill I gain approximately 4 or even 5 pounds = usually I am around 105 pounds, however, while on the pill I am 108-110 pounds. Not something that I would want to have and I’m feeling myself very bloated. Anyway, this is not such a big problem either because I’ve also noticed that whenever I’m temporarily stopping to use the pill (during that week of my period) I’m going back to my usual weight. Moreover, the last couple of weeks I have also noticed that I can manage this side effect (weight gain) even while taking the pill if I’m paying more attention to what I am eating and especially if I’m exercising a little bit more too. I have read in the past other user’s reviews with other BC pills so I know that there could be much worse side effects that these that I have so I think that I’m pretty lucky and I can say that in general, I’m satisfied by the way Alesse works.
