Very satisfied patient using atripla for hiv infection. It is my first and only drug I ever took for hiv and it seems to be great. I am taking it for about 2 months and I feel much better since then. I like that it is easy to use, easy on my system and it is easy to stay on this treatment plan! One pill is nothing harmful or something like that because I don’t like injections even if I am a mature women. I gained some pounds and started to enjoy life again. The only side effect I have with it (if it can be called so), I have vivid dreams at least once a week. Other than this no other side effects which is quite a good thing because I expected to have more side effects and more severe. Hiv viral load went down from 40k+ to <10k in only these 2 months. Doc says it’s going to be undetectable until the new year if this drug is going to work further the same way as it is working now. Overall, it is a great medicine, I’m very satisfied with it.

my cousin was suspecting that he is infected with HIV positive virus for a long time… however the tests could not show any results, and we don’t really know why... anyway, for about some months doctors have finally get the diagnose and as soon as he found out 100% about it they put him on atripla. in the beginning they said that his viral load is 80k. After 3 months of taking it the viral load was totally undetectable! atripla is a great drug that saved my cousin so i personally recommend it…

I take Atripla for 6 years and IMO it is a great drug! It works just wonders! In 2007 I was diagnosed with HIV infection and in the beginning I really thought that there is nothing that could save me. Months later everything changed, it was already 2008 when they finally decided to give me this medication. I do remember that the only side effects I had was a little dizziness and a feeling of being fatigue for no more than 2 weeks but then everything stopped. I guess my body was getting used to this medication in those days. After that every side effect stopped. Moreover, everything was good and since I’ve started taking this drug my numbers are undetectable. For me personally this drug seems a miracle! However, there are other people who don’t share the same opinion as mine. For example my doctors and their patients. For the last few months my doctors keep telling me that I should discontinue taking this medication because their other patients respond very bad to it. I don’t really understand why I should stop taking it even if it works very and very well for me but it doesn’t work for others. I know very well that everyone is different and I have nothing to do with others. Do you agree with me?

About 10 years ago I’ve been diagnosed with aids and since then I’m on atripla. atripla was my first and only medication for aids and it seems a pretty good one because since 2005 (or around that year) I’m taking and it and I don’t seem to have side effects. When I was diagnosed with a count of 93 my viral load was incredibly high. In the first year of taking atripla I’ve heard from somebody that our bodies can build antibodies for atripla in 4 years or so and it would stop working but luckily I haven’t and it still works for me now after 10 years. What I really like the most is that I don’t have side effects from it - I’ve read many stories where people wrote their side effects from different medications and it was horrible. and I also love the fact that my condition is steady: my count is a steady 800 and I’m not detectable. the only effect I had from it, I remember that I was feeling a little high from it when I first took it but I simply went to bed and everything returned to normal. After that no sick feeling or something. now, there’s absolutely no difference in what I’m feeling after taking it, sometimes I even forget if I took it or no. I’m not sure about one thing and that is why I still cannot call it a side effect until I won’t know it for sure but I THINK that it may cause a heightened sensitivity to products made of wheat. That’s because I’ve gained some weight and my cholesterol went up few years ago. As soon as I stopped eating wheat, soy and dairy products for few months I’ve got back to normal so… I’m still not sure if atripla is responsible for that but anyway, I still think that this is a good medicine.

After I’ve been on atripla for only 3 months I took another hiv test and the results were negative. Now I am taking it for more than one year and the results never change. I am taking this drug in the morning, each day and since the very beginning I have absolute zero bad effects. I’ve got only positive results from atripla so I can say that it is an awesome drug!

I have been taking Atripla for more than 2 months and from the beginning I started to notice very strange sides effects. Besides the headaches that I experienced I started to notice from the first day of administration that I started to feel myself like I’m drunk. This created big problems because I couldn’t leave my house and I couldn’t drive in that condition. After some days I started to experience this feelings in the morning after I woke up and then in the evening. This drug also created other side effects such as depression. During some weeks it was very difficult to me to manage my feelings and my aggression. There were some days when I started yelling without reason and generally I felt myself like nobody could understand me. At the very first beginning I thought that it’s normal, but my mom said that she never saw me in this situation before. I experienced during these months a kind of sleepiness. I always wanted to sleep but the problem started in the morning because it was very difficult to me to woke up, and I always felt myself like I didn’t slept for a week. After one month the biggest part of these side effects disappeared and I started to feel myself better. The only problem that I have had at the ending of my administration of atripla was that I felt myself a little gassy but it wasn’t so serious like other side effects.

Atripla helped me very much. I never experienced with it many side effects and I can’t say that those side effects that I experienced were insupportable. Some of effects that I noticed appeared to me after one month of use. I have had some troubles while sleeping because I started to have very vivid dreams when I got to sleep. The thing that irritated me most was the fact that during 2 month is was very difficult to me to concentrate. This was a big problem because I’m a student and I have to study every day. Even if there were all these effects I decided to continue my administration. After one month I noticed that all my side effects passed away and I started to feel much better. I’m really glad that I started to use this med and I hope that in future I will have some good results. I recommend this drug to all those that need it. I assure you that if you’ll notice some side effects it will pass very fast. You have to be patient and to think about your health. Hope that my review will help you.
