Azithromycin

Bad product that makes my life worse. After only 3 days of using this azithromycin my hands got very swollen and my skin got extremely red with many blisters all over it. they looked awful. Besides their esthetical look, my hands were hurting me extremely bad. I had to hold an ice bag continuously for 2 days in order to get at least some relief from my hands that were hurting so bad, believe me I never had such a bad pain, especially in my hands. I couldn’t work for a couple of days because of this. in fact, I was unable to do anything. Thanks to my husband who took care of my those days. As soon as the medication was totally out from my system, my hands returned to their normal state, the skin peeled of along with the blisters who also disappeared. I’m sure that I won’t ever use this drug again. I’ve searched information about it online prior to use it and I saw that it has quite good effects on other people, but not on me. I’m happy for those people who had positive results with this medicine, but unfortunately, I’m not one of them. I can’t tolerate this thing. as I said, I won’t use it ever again.

Well, I got tested for STD a couple of days ago because I was feeling “not like usual”. Yesterday I have got my results and with my results I have got a prescription. The results from the STD test that was given to me by my OBGYN showed that I am positive for Chlamydia infection. Doc said I need to start the battle against the infection asap. That is why he recommended Azithromycin tablets immediately. What pisses me off is that I have had sex only with one person!! It was the first and the only time for me to have unprotected sex and I got the infection – I am so unlucky. This devastated me. at least I’m lucky that I have a good doctor who really does care about my condition. That’s how he prescribed me 2 tablets of Azithromycin (they come in 500 mg each). I do have some side effects from the drug, but nothing to be scared about. In fact, I find these side effects to be pretty strange. There’s nothing life threatening but because you might get dizzy, you might become weak and it an also interfere with your vision (at least this is my case) as well as it might or might not to cause you to suffer from a mild stomach pain. As I said, there is absolutely nothing that you should be scared about, however I would recommend you to drink a lot of water as well as to not use this medication while you’re having an empty stomach. Don’t eat too fatty when taking it but also don’t use it on empty stomach. In this way you can avoid some side effects. especially stomach pains and dizziness. I also assume that the best time to take it is when you are located in a comfortable place, like your home. Anyway, I think that all the side effects that I am now having are worth it and that’s because sooner or later they would disappear and with them the STD is going to disappear too, so for me personally, it is much better to have some side effects for a while but to get rid of the STD completely. Dunno, maybe it is just me and my personal thoughts… anyway, one very sure thing is that I won’t be having any unprotected sex from now on. Next time it is going to be with my husband who has been tested for STD!

I have been taking this medication for a couple of times for different symptoms such as ear infection, strep, upper respiratory, sinus infection as well as UTI (but, in fact, I wasn’t usually prescribed this for urinary tract infections but still). I recommend it to everyone, you should try it at least once and see how it works for you. I don’t know if it would work the same way as it does for me but if this is the case then you’re as lucky as I am, but I’m one very lucky person when it comes to this medication. I love this drug a lot as it helps me a lot, in fact, I can say that I love all the mycins out there. in the past, before I have ever found this medicine I was put on other antibiotics like for example Cipro and Bactrum (sp) but I was having very bad side effects from them. but, while I am on this medicine I have absolutely no side effects at all and it does help me a lot, it makes me feel a lot much better. in fact, I don’t even feel that I am taking it and for me this is a very important point because usually when I’m on some other medicines I’m feeling bad. I know that each one of us is different so every single medicine is working differently for every single person, in the time a certain medicine (like for example this one) awesomely works for somebody (like for example me) for the same condition (like for example upper respiratory) as other patient has (like for example other people I have seen). Our bodies are all different, they are not the same. I mentioned that I’ve seen some other people who had side effects because I’ve read a lot of reviews about this drug and they said that they had side effects, well, comparing to them I didn’t had any at all. this is not a scientific fact, but my person opinion is that this is the best antibiotic that currently exists that really helps and that doesn’t have side effects, and my family as well as some other friends of mine who have been on it also agree with me. azithromycin always cleared up my infections completely with no failure in a short period of time. I recommend everyone at least to give it one try.
