Imovane (zopiclone) is a drug used for the treatment of insomnia (acute, chronic and situational insomnia). This is a psychotropic agent with hypnotic, sedative, anxiolytic, and anticonvulsant action. Imovane is indicated for adults who have difficulty falling asleep.

Imovane (zopiclone) contraindications
Imovane (zopiclone) should not be given to patients with severe respiratory insufficiency, sleep apnea, severe hepatic impairment, myasthenia gravis, hypersensitivity to the drug. Imovane (zopiclone) dosage

Imovane may reduce the concentration and the effects of trimipramine. Ritonavir, clarithromycin, erythromycin, and ketoconazole may increase the concentration of zopiclone, while carbamazepine, rifampicin, phenobarbital, phenytoin may reduce zopiclone concentrations.
When used together with Imovane, clozapine can cause shock, respiratory arrest, cardiac abnormalities.
