So far I am sure that this drug is working great on me with very minimal problems! I am having good experience with this drug so I can certainly say that this is an awesome anti HIV medicine. I have never been on other medications for HIV before but I have seen a lot of patients taking different kind of anti HIV medicines as well as those taking Isentress. I almost knew for sure that this drug would help me but I was very and very scared about the side effects I could have from it (as I said, I have seen some other patients taking Isentress so I know what I am talking about). However, the problems that I have had are very minimal: only slight dizziness a couple of times and a minor headache (only once). Nothing else since I am on this drug! However, these are absolutely nothing compared to what side effects I have seen… poor patients.. I consider that I am a very lucky one. Overall I have had only good and positive experience! I have chosen Isentress after I have compared all the reviews from different sites. Seems to be the best for me… Also it is very easy to take it! I can recommend it! It is really worth a try!

i am taking insentress for abut a little more than 5 yrs now. for approximately 3 yrs (plus or minus) I have been undetected and it seemed a perfect drug. Well, my hiv seemed to be completely under control but I found that it develops a series of side effects that are interfering way to much with the quality of my life. the pains are hitting me daily, I cannot life a day of my life now without struggling in pains. Moreover, I have lost the entire body mass in my legs, arms and in the hip areas as well. But that are the only areas I have lost body mass. In the other parts such as stomach and abdominal region (as well as in the uppermost back, the area below my neck) I am having extreme increases in fat deposits. This makes me suffering, because I am no longer the way I was. Once, I was curvy and good looking woman but now my body is like deformed. The bad thing is that it doesn’t matter how much I am trying to lose my weight, the stomach area won’t change. I’m still not sure if this is all caused by isentress but there’s no other thing I can think of. that is why I guess I would never have taken it if I knew what everything would end.

Diagnosed with hiv few years ago and been told to take videx. However, 2 weeks ago videx was replaced with isentress because it seems that the previous drug is damaging my liver. Because I’m taking this drug for less than a month it’s hard to say anything in particular but I am already able to tell you something. I am already able to feel its effectiveness and its side effects. I was almost sure that this drug would work for me but I wanted to know more about the side effects it has. As the previous user, I’m also noticing issues with sleeping patterns (insomnia) and even strange dreams. I guess that is why it makes me feel restless during the day. Well, I’ve been told to try taking it right before the bedtime so when this side effects hits me I’m already asleep. i’ve been taking other drugs before and their side effects diminished over time so I really hope that this side effect would diminish too

I’m living with positive HIV for more than 20 years since it was detected and since that time I have been now on the majority of drugs that are available in order to combat the virus effects. Besides this drug, I was taking only one medication that was also interfering with my sleeping habits (Sustiva is the name of that drug). The biggest side effects I am currently dealing with is sleeping insomnia. Overall, the medication is quite tolerable especially once I’ve finally got past the diarrhea but having trouble sleeping isn’t good either. I am taking it for 4 and 1/2 months now and when I hit on the worst point I was sleeping for no more than 2 hours a night and this was painful. I could not deal with my full time job and I had big troubles concentrating. Of course I tried sleeping aids but I had very unpleasant side effects so I quit. Now I’m trying to have a planned day – I mean to get into bed in the exactly same time each day and to get out of my bed exactly in the same time each day. I need to stay in bed no matter what happens and then maybe I’ll be able to sleep properly. I have tried to practice relaxation techniques and to go to acupuncture treatments in order to combat insomnia each week and this helped. I am doing a little better than before since I’m having maybe 5 to 6 hours sleeping a night but I’m still having some troubles dealing with a full time job being fatigued and “not really well”. Would be a way better medication without this side effect.
